How KiddoDoo works

KiddoDoo shows activities and events that are ready for booking. You need only to read the description and make sure that it fits the child:

  • by age
  • by time, date, and duration

That’s all you need. Click ‘book’ and that’s it.

If you still have questions about the activity, you can check if they’ve been already covered in ‘Q&A’ section of the activity’s page. Or post your question. The organizer’s answer might be useful to many other parents, that’s what makes it different from private texting.

How the payment works?

Most often in order to book no billing info is required and no extra info needed at all. Parents pay at the desk when they bring their children to the activity.

How to cancel my booking?

Cancelation policy must be described in the ‘cancelation’ section. All active bookings can be found in ‘My bookings’ section. If you don’t cancel and don’t show up, KiddoDoo keeps track of your No-show rating and it’ll be seen by the hosts of activities you’ll be booking in future.

Booking confirmation

After booking parents either receive a confirmation or confirmation is not needed. In any case your booking will be confirmed within the app or by email. All upcoming bookings are listed in ‘My bookings’ section in the app.

Subscriptions, Courses, Regular classes

It’s not always clear when a course starts, or when one can join a regular course or a daycare. Information must be in the description of the activity. A button ‘Book it’ means you can join on a date that you can see in the description. If there’s nothing about that in the description, you’re welcome to book for any date from the activity’s schedule.

The booking is not final until you receive confirmation. Organizer of the activity can ask you some additional questions or change the date of the booking with a short note, before confirming your reservation.

I don’t see the button “Book”

This means that the event is sold out or the group is full. You can hit the ‘bell’ button to sign up for updates and you’ll be informed when this activity becomes available, this is handy.

Information about my child

In KiddoDoo there’s a section ‘My child’ for important information about your child, that the childcare professional should know, like allergies etc. It would be great if you could provide a phone number of your backup person, health notes and other information that might be helpful when you are away. When you are booking an activity, the system will ask if you want this information about your child to be attached to your booking request. This information goes nowhere without your approval.

Reviews

Your reviews are extremely important for KiddoDoo. The world is so big and it’s not easy to figure everything out. We need to help each other. We’re asking you to leave reviews, at least a few words, each time when you’re visiting a new childcare professional or when you’ve picked a new activity. You can access the list of places you’ve visited in ‘Awaiting for a review’ section in Settings or simply on the activity page.

Who is the organizer?

KiddoDoo does not sell or hold our own activities. It’s always a private childcare specialist, a micro-organization or simply an organization. You can learn more about the organizer either by selecting an organization that posts its own activities on KiddoDoo or by paying for a KiddoDoo subscription.

Only KiddoDoo subscribers can see the organizers of activities whose information has been posted by our editorial team, while the activities are visible to everyone. Booking for all activities is available directly through KiddoDoo for free, without a subscription. Additionally, we offer the lowest price guarantee. If you happen to find the same activity cheaper elsewhere, we will compensate the difference.
