Organizer: Clarity From August 24 to 28 Clarity Center runs a Russian-language science camp for children aged 5–11. Science Summer at Clarity Center (link) From August 24 to 28 we invite children to join a Russian-language science camp. Together with the 'Princess Knowledge' the children will go through adventures and challenges that can be overcome only with the help of science. During the week children will not only observe experiments but also learn their nature and take part in them. Children will: · make a lemon flashlight and learn where electricity comes from · create a "swamp" to walk across by understanding the properties of a non-Newtonian fluid · build boats and submarines to study density, buoyancy and air power · do chemistry experiments with indicators, crystals and reactions · use magnets, electricity and engineering solutions to pass final trials and reach the castle. The whole session is built as an interactive science quest: children live a fairy-tale plot, help characters, search for solutions, build working models and immediately apply their discoveries in play. Throughout the program children will: • develop curiosity and investigative thinking • learn to ask questions and test hypotheses • understand basic scientific principles through practice • work with their hands and create simple engineering constructions • learn to cooperate, discuss ideas and look for solutions together • see that science is not boring formulas but a way to understand and change the world. 📅 August 24–28 👥 Ages 5–11 • Full meals: hot lunch and snacks • Daily walks and active outdoor games • Address: Clarity Center, Calçada da Quintinha 71A, 1070-223 Lisboa (Campolide) Price: • €300 — all included (insurance, program, meals). • €250 if paid by July 29.
