He is often compared to Banksy because of his manner of appearing in urban space with unexpected monochrome statues that disappear as suddenly as they appear. The main theme is conveying ideas through form, with emphasis on social critique, humor and the absurd. The artist lives and works between Barcelona, Lisbon and Istanbul. For "Imaginary Friends" SUPER LINOX created a series of character sculptures he calls "imaginary friends." Each figure is a "distorted mirror" of contemporary society: through everyday symbols the artist explores power, status, identity and social projection, making the viewer both recognize themselves and feel discomfort.
