Organizer: Студия О2: керамика, воркшопы, встречи, праздники A week-long day camp in Podgorica for children 6–12: hands-on workshops on Ghanaian ornament, textiles, clay work, weaving and cooking. Like it and we will find out all the details and exact schedule. AROUND THE WORLD: GHANA 17–21 August · Podgorica Ages 6–12 · 9:00–14:30 For a whole week we stay in one country — Ghana. Children learn about it not from a textbook but with their hands: through ornament, fabric, clay, color and taste. MONDAY Introduction to the country and a large joint project in which children study Ghanaian ornament and aesthetics. After lunch — we make an African bandana and paint it with African ornaments. TUESDAY We decorate bandanas: get to know fine embroidery and create our own pattern. After lunch — we begin work on an original African mask. WEDNESDAY We sculpt African totems from polymer clay. After lunch — we master weaving and make our own baskets. THURSDAY We finish the masks: everyone invents their own signs and color solutions. After lunch — we prepare Ghanaian dishes with our own hands. FRIDAY We prepare an exhibition and learn to talk about our works.
