We are starting a new series of science walks! 🌊MALI DUNAV with biologists May 1, “Along the Water: who swims, flies and crawls?” Family science program, 5+ 🦆“Mali Dunav” is a small nature complex near Belgrade where a system of ponds and channels models the Danube ecosystem. It is also a base of the University of Belgrade where biologists study and rear fish and shape the life of the waterbodies and surrounding spaces. There are fish, birds and many different domestic and wild waterside animals. It is also remarkably clean and safe, so it’s fine to bring small children. 🐠Who are sturgeons afraid of? Why does a pike look like a log? Why does a duck have tooth-like structures on its bill? 🐥How to arrange a nest so it’s cozy for chicks?
