Free Museums & National Parks Day — Bank Poalim campaign (May 29–30)

On the upcoming weekend (May 29–30) Olga's excursions will not run because on these weekend days, for the third time, museums, national parks and other interesting sites across the country will be opened FREE thanks to the traditional Bank Poalim campaign. (https://poalimatarim.com/) Participants include the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, ANU – Museum of the Jewish People, the Israel Museum, Timna Park, the Yaacov Agam Museum in Rishon LeZion, the Tikotin Museum of Japanese Art in Haifa, Katzrin Archaeological Park, the Ashdod Art Museum, the Ramla museum and dozens of other venues. If we are not all again sitting in bomb shelters, I strongly recommend choosing the furthest-from-center sites and arriving right at opening. You must register on the website (link above, you can translate it with Google into Russian) and reserve the free tickets. Plan ahead! My June schedule will appear very soon; I just need to rest after three consecutive excursions last weekend.
