Pochemuchka Where Does the Wind Come From We don't see the wind, but we see how it changes everything around us. Why does it appear and where does its force come from? In the class we will explore the wind: learn how air moves, why it behaves differently during day and evening, and what kinds of winds exist — from a gentle breeze to a hurricane. We'll talk about how people learned to use the wind: raising sails, building mills and even launching airplanes. At the end we'll make our own windmill and make it spin.
