June 15–19 (Mon–Fri), 10:00–17:00 “Tbilisi Bestiary.” An animation day camp for city children's camps at Auditoria (ages 8–14). Over five days each participant will go through the full path from idea to screen: invent their own fantastical creature, record its legend, craft a marionette and shoot a short animation cycle. Inspired by medieval bestiaries and their amazing inhabitants, the children will create an original fantastic animal: they will invent its name, superpower, habitat and record a real legend about it on a voice recorder. Next we will learn marionette techniques, work with various textures and materials, print plants for backgrounds and build an entire garden populated by our creatures. Then we will film it. Each creature will come to life in a short animation cycle, and together they will become part of a collective film. 📽 The camp will conclude with a premiere screening — “Garden of Unusual Animals” — open to participants, their relatives and friends. 🗣️ Aleksandra Kirienkova — multidisciplinary artist, leader of the children’s animation session at https://t.me/animadomik 🗣️ Alena Gutman — animation director, animator, artist, lab leader at invisiblefriends.tbilisi (https://www.instagram.com/invisiblefriends.tbilisi?igsh=NnE5a3RqaWh1dmI=) 👥 Group up to 12 people 💳 500₾ if paid before June 1 / 550₾ after.
