No photos addedThe Tale of the Agile Monkey — Kamishibai Paper Theatre (lantern craft)
“The Tale of the Agile Monkey” (Chinese–Tibetan tale) This little-known tale is about a small MONKEY who defends her right to be a CHILD — loud, brave, curious. Agility comes to her aid. This performance in the kamishibai paper-theatre genre uses medieval-style scrolls and bamboo sticks to tell the incredible story of three duels of the Little Monkey with the strongest in the impenetrable jungle. After the performance we will together make Chinese lanterns for each viewer! Registration is open! Register without fuss in KiddoDu or via direct message to the organizer: https://t.me/mrman_drman

Shorter performances for a very small audience, where little ones are not just spectators but active participants — they can move, touch objects, interact, and become part of the action. In baby theatre, what matters most are images, sounds, gestures, and mood rather than plot. Such performances develop attention and emotional responsiveness, provide a safe space for exploration, and often include a creative part where children can craft something with their own hands inspired by what they’ve seen.
