Friends, we invite your children (ages 7 and up) to a masterclass at North School! Why is a shopping mall different from a theatre? And a school — from a museum? Because every building has its own purpose! At the masterclass we will learn: — how function influences a building's form — why rooms, walls and floors are needed — what a structure is made of — why some buildings are boring and others invite close looking Each participant will create their own architectural model: frame, walls and façade. The session ends with a presentation for parents and a tea. The class is led by Sasha Maikova, an architect-urbanist. She has worked in architecture for over 7 years and explores architecture with children through teaching, project practice and work with children's spaces. Date & time: 2026-05-31, 17:00.
