28.06 – 04.07 Family camp "Ancient Greece A to Z" Greece, Halkidiki, Vourvourou Give your child not just a trip to the sea, but a true journey into culture and creativity. We will explore Ancient Greece not from textbooks, but through lived experience—through movement, art, research and personal discoveries. Program leaders: Alexandra Kuptsova – teacher of art history, ceramist, camp and Clever People space organizer Vera Tkach – teacher of plastic and stage movement, musician. This is a team that knows how not just to tell, but to involve, inspire and open up children. Program includes: - making personal artifacts: ceramics, sketches, travel journals - developing imagination, observation and the ability to express thoughts - work with text, voice and attention to the world around We will visit the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki and teach children to see history in artifacts rather than just "exhibits." Classes will take place in a living environment—by the sea, in tavernas, under olive trees. Light schedule with interest, dialogue and involvement. Children will also touch modern Greece: national traditions, cuisine, atmosphere, to feel how culture lives today. At the finale we will have an immersive performance where every child becomes a participant and co-author. Accommodation: cozy apartments a 15-minute walk from a lovely sandy beach in the village of Vourvourou Nearby are tavernas, shops and everything needed for a comfortable and calm holiday. And of course: sea, sun, movement, new friends and that sense of freedom and joy that stays with the child for a long time. This is a trip after which children return not only rested but more attentive, confident and inspired. More formal clay work aimed at creating figures or objects, most often followed by firing and glazing. It helps develop fine motor skills, patience, focus, and gives a calming, stress-relieving experience through hands-on creativity.
more «ceramics» →Classes where children develop acting skills, stage presence, and musical awareness. They explore themselves through games and exercises focused on improvisation, expression, and self-expression, or by working on performance projects. These classes help children reveal their individuality, learn to work as a team, express emotions, control their voice and body, and build confidence and the ability to perform in front of an audience.
more «acting and stage performance» →Activities that help children explore their bodies, space, coordination, teamwork and dialogue through play, help release tension and express emotions through movement. They combine fun and physical expression, building confidence and providing sense of joy — while also help strengthen the body.
