If your child is starting 1st grade this autumn — this post is for you. From June we launch the Preschool Intensive — a summer school-readiness program by the Happy School teaching team and the preschool curator. The program is based on three key principles: a strong foundation, learning through interest, and the child's psychological comfort. The aim is not just to 'boost skills' but to help the child feel confident before school. After completing Preschool Intensive we provide a full readiness assessment for 1st grade from: teachers, a psychologist, a neuropsychologist and a speech therapist. Program includes: — adaptation to school format — math and writing — speech development and preparation for reading — fine motor skills — creativity No grades, no comparisons, no pressure.
