Interactive theatrical performance for children aged 4–9: "Alya in the Land of Letters". The play is based on Irina Tokmakova's tale "Alya, Klyaksich and the Letter A". Alya and the letter A travel through the primer and must stop the mischievous Klyaksich, who wants to replace letters with inkblots and turn the book into a blot. Throughout the story, the characters and young audience complete simple, engaging tasks; children actively participate and help the heroes progress. The inhabitants of the primer appear as cheerful little people, birds and animals; the show is full of movement and gentle interaction with the audience. Children do not need to know the alphabet — the plot is understandable and interesting on its own. After the performance there is a mini-workshop: children will color a page of the "cheerful primer", decorate it and take it home as a keepsake. Intimate format — no more than 25 children together with parents. Duration: 50 minutes. Venue: Rīga, "Stadia", Rīga, Ģertrudes iela 24. Ticket price: 15 EUR. Separate ticket required for an adult and a child.
