May 3 — family walk and plein air on Fruška Gora. We invite families with children aged 7–12 (children 10–12 may attend without parents; ages 6.5–9 with one or both parents). Meeting at 10:30 at the 74 bus stop near Futoška pijaca (towards Most Slobode) and we travel to Popovica. This will be a creative adventure in the most scenic corners of the reserve. Program: - Walk along a scenic trail with flowers and curly oaks; - Learn about different leaf and grass shapes and collect plants for a herbarium; - One-hour plein air session (choose landscape of the Fruška Gora hills with wax or pastel crayons, or leaf and flower sketches in watercolor); - Descent to Orlovo Bojište and a snack; - Exploration of a cave: sketches of hills, rocks and cave “inhabitants” using real charcoal from the campfire; - Mini shakuhachi flute concert in a mountain bowl; - Ascent to Orlovo Bojište with options to choose trail difficulty. Return to the city around 16:30 or 17:20 depending on group preferences. Bring: sturdy shoes, water, snack, book or album for herbarium collecting, sketchbook and drawing materials (we can provide by prior arrangement), and a good mood.
