Who asked for walks? We're bringing them back! Walk around (not)Haifa is going on a walk and picnic to Ein Afek Nature Reserve this Saturday, 25 April. The reserve is near Kiryat Bialik at the source of the Naaman stream. There is plenty to see and explore: beautiful nature, a Crusader mill, bridges over water, dams, ponds and a stream with large catfish, water buffalo, turtles and many other flora and fauna. Plan for Saturday: We have two meeting points. ✅ Haifa group — meet at 10:00 at Kikar Paris by the Carmelit entrance Meeting point on the map: https://maps.app.goo.gl/3reDCKK7PCvxwHka7 Then we take the Metronit and go to the second point (bring Rav-Kav or phone for fare!) ✅ Krayot group — meet at 11:00 at the Derech Akko/Derech Rabin intersection on the corner of Kiryon Meeting point on the map: https://maps.app.goo.gl/Pi1KmdxwmWhQvbGh7 ✅ Walk to Ein Afek Reserve ✅ Arrange a picnic ✅ Walk around the park territory ✅ Gather at the picnic area and return together to Kiryat Bialik transport Bring: • Sunscreen • Headwear • Water • Comfortable shoes and clothes • Rav-Kav/phone for fare Planned distance — about 3 km to the park entrance + several kilometers inside the reserve + ~3 km return to transport.
