Much has been studied about the monuments of Saqqara, Dahshur and Giza. We will review known facts from the point of view of the evolution of the engineering genius of their architects — from the first experiments to the technical triumph of the Great Pyramids. And once again marvel at humanity's ability to create such large-scale projects in so distant a past. Lecturer — art historian Elena Shumilova, former staff of the Russian Museum (St. Petersburg) * The lecture will be interesting for high-school students and adults.
