Are any of you already on holiday?! Come to us! No-no, not to study! Educational shifts of our city camp will start a little later. Meanwhile, we invite children aged 7 to 13 to a shift of board, verbal and active games taking place from 15 to 19 June! You will find board games (Hat, Crocodile, Uno, Imaginarium, etc.), read-aloud sessions and a bit of films and cartoons with discussion! We will do creative work, draw, go through obstacle courses, solve riddles — everything depends on the children's wishes. The camp is run by students of the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences in Montenegro: Masha Panasyuk — actress, creative editor of the student media, host of the animation club at Auditoria. Arina Lavrova — future digital urbanist, active researcher in digital humanities, professional nanny. The camp takes place Monday to Friday from 11:00 to 17:00. The cost of participation in one shift is 150 euros (lunch, snack and all materials included). You can join for one day. The price for one day is 40 euros. Gatherings that develop attention, memory, and strategic thinking, while helping children learn to negotiate, interact with others, and socialize in a new place. During play, kids practice following rules, taking turns, planning ahead, and considering others’ moves. Board games strengthen soft skills — communication, emotional regulation, listening, and cooperation — and at the same time they are fun gatherings that can even lead to new friendships.
more «board games» →A mix of drawing, sculpting, collage, model-making, handicrafts, and applied creative techniques — including inventing and making board games or similar projects. Activities can be about the pure joy of exploration and creativity, or about developing fine motor skills, exploring art through practice, learning language, history, and beyond.
more «creative classes» →Meetings where books are discussed. Such gatherings help spark children’s interest in reading, teach them to notice details and appreciate the depth of a text. Book clubs develop language and thinking skills and offer wonderful opportunities to socialize and find like-minded peers.
more «book club» →Besides watching films together, these most often include follow up discussions. The value of such meetings lies in live communication — the opportunity to express one’s opinion, be heard, learn to articulate thoughts, and listen to others. Film clubs help children find like-minded peers and develop emotional intelligence and a sense of belonging to a community.
