Imagine a place under tall Finnish pines where your children are treated as equals. This summer we open LUMO — an engineering‑creative residency by the AurinkoLab school in Espoo. This is not a classic camp with entertainers. It is a community where being smart is normal, and instead of a boring program there are real adult challenges. Deep immersion We want to show children the horizon of their possibilities. Therefore we go beyond the residency: • We will visit the closed doors of SuperCell headquarters to speak with the creators of global game hits. • We will go to Aalto University to see the technologies of tomorrow. • We will meet the creators of DeepPavlov.ai (language models used in major ecosystems) and inventors of micro‑mobility transport. • We will talk with biologists from the University of Helsinki. • We will hear how the African Mande language sounds and learn how music lives inside the world’s languages. Environment and psychological comfort Daily life is as important to us as science. We respect each individual’s boundaries. • Highest level of attention: 1 adult per 3 children. • A psychologist and a medic are on site at all times. • Five meals a day: fresh croissants for breakfast, plenty of protein, tasty vegan options and careful attention to all diets. • And in the evenings: a campfire, guitar and conversations. Dates: July 20 — 26, 2026 Location: Espoo, Finland (40 min from Helsinki) Price: €620 (all included: comfortable accommodation and meals, electric kart details and excursions).
