This Saturday a performance in Ashdod for the very youngest viewers! April 25 at 11:00 "The Ball of Wool" based on a poem by Ovsey Driz. Young spectators will enjoy a magical story about kindness, selflessness and fair punishment for selfishness, greed and ingratitude. The tale of the kind little ram is told in the first person by the “ball of wool” itself. It interacts with the children and throughout the performance receives their input. First the audience helps knit items for a foolish old woman, then unravels them to help the ram escape her ill intentions. At the end of the performance children will take part in a master-class where they will create their own little "sheep" and later be able to tell and show this instructive story to friends and family. A creative direction built around stories. Children create plots and characters and learn to tell and experience stories through words, play, drawing, or movement. These activities develop imagination, language, emotional intelligence, and the ability to understand oneself and others through narrative.
