Every last Saturday of May — this year on May 30 — a mass bike ride is held in Belgrade for World Bicycle Day dedicated to children. Gathering of participants (open to everyone, no registration required) starts at 14:30 at Trg Republike; the ride is scheduled to start at 15:00. The 13 km route goes through the old town, across the bridge over Ada, then New Belgrade, finishing at Ušće, where a bicycle course for children will be organized. 🚴♀️ Route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/54968241 The purpose of the action is to draw the attention of authorities and the public to the need to improve cyclist safety in urban traffic and to the importance of investing in high-quality cycling infrastructure.
