🔸30 May, Portuguese School of Equestrian Art. The gala concert is timed for Children's Day and will include a family performance with free admission. “Gentil – Symbol of Portuguese Equestrian Art”. The performance, scheduled for 12:00 at the Enrique Calado riding arena in the Ajuda district, Lisbon, is a journey through time introducing children and adults to the elegant and precise “dance” of purebred Lusitano horses from the Alter stud — a unique art form recognized by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage. The program includes a visit to Páteo da Nora where from 11:00 to 12:00 visitors can go behind the scenes of the school and observe both animal care and the warm‑up exercises riders perform with their horses before the gala concert. The performance “Gentil – Symbol of Portuguese Equestrian Art” lasts about 30 minutes and is intended for families with children aged 6 and over. On this day tickets for the north and south stands will be free provided they are reserved in advance by email to equestrianart@sintraparks.pt, which should include the desired number of seats.
