🌳 "Walking Forest" has arrived at Freedom Square As visible in photos, green plantings have appeared on the background of Freedom Square. This is the final part of the Serbian–Hungarian project "Hodajuća šuma" (meaning "walking" or "wandering" forest) — a mobile forest. The TARGET project is implemented under the INTERREG VI-A IPA Hungary–Serbia programme (2021–2027), funded by the European Union. The Walking Forest will be at Freedom Square (Trg Slobode) from May 22 to June 5. From morning to evening under the motto "City–forest–water" there will be morning meditations, workshops and classes with children, educational events for adults, concerts, performances and other events. The goal of the eco-cultural-artistic project "Walking Forest" is to raise ecological awareness and popularize tree planting among youth in Serbia and Hungary.
