An interactive session about the culture of memory in Germany — a country where the past remains part of the present and is constantly subject to discussion and choice. After a short introduction to the history of National Socialism and the Cold War, participants will take part in a role-play: each person will receive a role based on a real biography. Together they will hold a public hearing to discuss complex and ambiguous questions: whether Stolpersteine should be installed on the houses of victims of Nazism, what to do with a Red Army soldier monument, and whether to open archives containing information about the Nazi past. Participants will be expected not only to express an opinion but to try to understand different viewpoints, argue their position, engage in discussion, and make collective decisions. The session is about how memory is formed, why it can be conflictual, and what place each of us holds in it. No special knowledge is required — only a readiness to think, discuss and ask questions. 📅This Sunday, 10 May 🕐14:30 👼🏻for people 12–18 years old 🎟️ registration (https://fienta.com/de/teencreativelab-politik-and-mediaattotschka-180531) Sign up hassle-free in KiddoDu or in the organizer's direct: https://t.me/totschka_berlin
