On May 11, for our Preschool and grades 1–4 students, a concert-lecture by the piano duo “Fantastic Worlds of Edvard Grieg” will take place. This is a small-scale school event integrated into the curriculum as part of the current IPC unit “Myths and Legends.” The program includes music by Edvard Grieg from Peer Gynt suites No. 1 and No. 2. Children will get acquainted with the fantastic images, characters and moods evoked in the music and will experience the theme of myths and legends through art in a new way.
