A hike to Maglić (2141 m), one of Montenegro's most scenic peaks. Elevation gain about 600 m, distance about 16 km, hiking duration about 7 hours (plus ~2.5 hours drive from the coast). Difficulty 2.8/5. The route goes through Kučke planine and Komovi Nature Park. On the return — a viewpoint over Rikovačko Lake and Bukumirsko Lake. Bring: 1.5 L water (there is a spring on the way), snack, sunscreen, rain protection, headwear, clothing for warm and cold (it is windy and 10–15°C cooler on the summit), comfortable footwear. Pre-registration is mandatory.
