Architectural city camp "Connecting Cities" for children ages 8–14 led by a professional architect and an urbanist. How do bridges appear and why do they become symbols of cities? Over five days participants will try roles of architects, engineers and urban researchers. Children will study the structure of the city, get acquainted with the most famous bridges in the world and bridges of Podgorica, go on an architectural excursion, learn to analyze urban spaces and find places where new connections are especially needed by people. Each participant will develop an original bridge project: determine its location, purpose, structure and artistic image. Kids will create sketches, drawings and a volumetric model, carry out simple engineering experiments, learn how architects and engineers work together, and prepare a professional project presentation. When: 22–26 June, 10:00–15:00 Where: studio o2 (map: https://maps.app.goo.gl/b7xamuqh6twMwJCH9) Price: 165 EUR (snack included) Teachers: Konstantin, teacher at Che.design (https://chedesignschool.com/tivat/).
