Volunteers and editors
We’re welcoming volunteers and people engaged in parenting or child development/education/entertainment in their region.
The main task of the volunteers is to collect and manage information about children’s and parental activities in their region.
In developed regions, part of the activities are added by the child specialists themselves, but the most noteworthy events, those truly worth paying attention to, are exactly what we aim to feature first. We want our parents to learn about everything first and manage to get to the most interesting things! What is easily accessible to you because it all happens right before your eyes, can be unique information for someone living even in a neighboring city.
Most often, the volunteer’s work involves tracking schedules and announcements from local parent chats and numerous Telegram groups and adding this information as clear and detailed listings on KiddoDoo. The volunteer fills out the schedule, answers questions about the organizations they enter. Also, they may suggest in local groups and chats the options available in KiddoDoo in their region, if asked, both helping people to find information they needed and increase awareness about KiddoDoo.
Volunteers are encouraged to track organizations not yet featured on KiddoDoo, such as state schools and public celebrations /street fairs, as well as those already on the platform, cause some entities don’t add their most popular activities themselves. This helps us ensure no popular events are missed, all in service of our main goal: to cater to parents’ needs.
Who’s enrolling, hosting special events, or featuring guest appearances, noteworthy local museum programs?
The work of volunteers is not paid, but our volunteers periodically receive coupons from partner projects, free tickets to interesting events, and there’s also satisfaction from doing a good deed.
Additionally, volunteers who contribute effectively for 1-2 months and have shown their dedication to the project’s idea can receive offers to become an official regional editor or a project ambassador in their region — and these are paid positions!
If you are interested in trying yourself as a KiddoDoo volunteer, write to us!
